The film follows Joseph, the beloved son of Jacob, whose jealous brothers sell him into slavery in Egypt. Despite suffering betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment, Joseph's faith and God-given ability to interpret dreams lead him to become a powerful ruler in Egypt. He eventually forgives his brothers and helps save his family during a famine. The story is presented within the broader biblical narrative of God's plan for Israel and the coming of the Messiah.
